Delete Account Overview

This page explains how account deletion works in Asaan Parwaz. Travelers can request deletion from the signed-in app experience. Once the request is submitted, the account is marked for deletion, the current mobile session is revoked, and the request moves into the review queue.

Step By Step Flow

  1. The signed-in user sends a delete-account request from the app.
  2. Asaan Parwaz marks the account with a deletion request and sends a confirmation email to the account owner.
  3. The active API token and registered mobile device session are cleared so the user cannot keep using the same mobile session.
  4. Future mobile sign-in attempts are blocked while the deletion request is active.
  5. The request appears in the admin dashboard under delete-account requests for review.
  6. If the request remains active, a scheduled cleanup job permanently removes the account after 30 days.
What Happens To Your Data

  • A deletion request first places the account into a pending deletion state.
  • While the request is active, new mobile logins are blocked.
  • Support or admin can restore access before final deletion by re-enabling the account.
  • Accounts that stay flagged for deletion are removed by the scheduled cleanup process after 30 days.
Recovering Your Account

If the deletion request was made by mistake, contact support before the final deletion window ends. Admin can re-enable the account and clear the pending delete request.
